Little Earns Second Consecutive AMCC Player of the Week Honor

PITTSBURGH, PA — Frostburg State sophomore Tracey Little (La Vale, Md./Allegany) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Player of the Week for the second consecutive week after leading the Bobcats to two wins in three outings.

Little continued her strong play early-season play, averaging 23.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals in FSU's three games last week.

After scoring 18 points in a 59-58 win over Mary Washington on Wednesday, the 6-0 forward poured in 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a convincing 91-75 win over two-time defending AMCC champion Penn State Altoona Saturday.

Little capped her week by scoring a career-high 27 points and pulling down six boards in a 71-67 loss to Marietta in the championship game of the 18th Annual Marietta/Lafayette Hotel Turkey Shoot Tournament.

Little was named to the all-tournament team for her efforts.

The Bobcats, 4-1 and off to their best start since the 1996-97 season, return to action on Wednesday when they host Villa Julie at 6:00 pm.
