Little Named AMCC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Third Time

GIBSONIA, PA — Frostburg State junior Tracey Little (La Vale, Md./Allegany) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the third time this season.

Little, a 6-0 forward/center, averaged 19.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 2.5 steals in a 1-1 week.

She had 18 points and 16 rebounds in a 60-44 win over Villa Julie and added 21 points, six rebounds and four blocks in a 70-57 loss to AMCC rival Penn State Behrend.

Little, the conference’s leading scorer (19.5) and rebounder (11.1), is now just 48 points shy of 1,000 for her career.

Frostburg State (13-8, 4-4 AMCC) will visit defending league champion Pitt-Greensburg (18-4, 8-1) tonight at 6 pm. FSU handed UPG an 82-60 loss January 14.
