Little Named ECAC Co-Player of the Week

GIBSONIA, Pa. — Frostburg State senior forward Tracey Little (LaVale, Md./Allegany) was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III Southern Co-Player of the Week Wednesday.

Little averaged 20.5 points and 13.5 rebounds and shot 50 percent (16-of-32) to help the Bobcats to a 2-0 mark last week.

She earned her ninth and 10th double-doubles of the season, posting 21 points and 11 rebounds in a 70-55 win over Penn State Altoona January 18 and adding 20 points and 16 rebounds in a 66-58 win over Pitt-Greensburg January 23.

Little, who was was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Women’s Basketball Co-Player of the Week for her efforts, moved into seventh place on the Frostburg State all-time scoring list with 1,374 points.

She currently ranks second in the AMCC in scoring (17.9) and third in rebounding (10.5).

Frostburg State, 12-4 overall and 9-0 in the AMCC, returns to action Friday when it hosts Penn State Behrend in a key league contest at 6 pm.
