McKnight Captures 200th Career Win

FROSTBURG, MD — Frostburg State University head baseball coach Chris McKnight won his 200th career game as a head coach last Saturday with a 10-1 victory over Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in the Port Charlotte Invitational Tournament in Port Charlotte, Fla.

McKnight is now 128-84-1 at Frostburg State and 202-142-1 in ten years as a head coach. During his six seasons at FSU, McKnight has captured one Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Tournament championship, two AMCC runners-up finishes and one Eastern College Athletic Conference Tournament appearence.

Before FSU, McKnight coached NCAA Division II Dowling to a record of 74-59 in four seasons including two ECAC Tournament appearences.

“This is a testament to this program and to the coaches who have helped me in my 10 years as a head coach,” siad McKnight.

The Bobcats are 8-8 overall and 1-0 in the AMCC.
