McKnight Named to NCAA Baseball Rules Committee

FROSTBURG, MD - Frostburg State head baseball coach and associate athletic director Chris McKnight has been appointed to the NCAA Baseball Rules Committee.

McKnight, who has previously served the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) on various committees, assumed his duties September 1 and will serve in this role until September 2005.

The committee, which has seven other voting members from NCAA institutions across the country, meets twice a year to discuss legislation and rules pertaining to NCAA baseball on all levels.

"It's an honor to serve on this important committee and assist my fellow coaches and the NCAA with the continued development of collegiate baseball," said McKnight, who led the Bobcats to a 25-16 overall record and a berth in the ECAC Tournament last season.
