Men's Soccer Falls to Catholic

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Colin Crawford rifled a shot from the left corner in the 75th minute to give host Catholic a 2-1 win over Frostburg State in men's soccer action Wednesday afternoon.

Travis Akiwowo put Catholic (2-3-1) on the board in the 42nd minute with a goal inside the near post off an assist from Khoi Phan.

Frostburg State (1-5) tied the game in the 70th minute when senior Matt Moffa (Baltimore, Md./Eastern Tech) notched his team-high fourth goal of the season off an assist from sophomore Gregg Laskow (Plainsboro, N.J./WWP-North), but Crawford added the winning goal just over five minutes later.

The Bobcats return to action Saturday when they visit Mary Washington at 3:30 pm.
