Men's Soccer Falls to EMU in Final Seconds

HARRISONBURG, VA — Justin Edris scored the game-winning goal with just eight seconds remaining in regulation to give Eastern Mennonite a 2-1 win over Frostburg State Thursday afternoon.

After the teams battled through a scoreless first half, Bobcat sophomore Rich Kuhn (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) gave FSU a 1-0 lead with an unassisted goal in the 51st minute.

EMU (5-6) answered seven minutes later, as Andrew Peifer found the net off an assist from Sean Rice.

The game went without another goal for 31 minutes until Edris' game-winner following a free kick.

Junior Mike Pregnall (Herndon, Va./Oakton) made six saves for the Bobcats, who fell to 5-4 on the season. All four losses have come by one goal.

FSU returns to action on Saturday when it hosts Southern Virginia at 1:00 p.m.
