Men's Soccer Loses to William Patterson

POMONA, NJ — Ryan Mogila scored the games only goal as the Frostburg State men's soccer team lost to William Paterson 1-0 Saturday afternoon at the Stockton Seashore Classic.

Mogila gave the Pioneers the lead for good at 12:20 when he scored off a feed from Jason Almeida.

The Bobcats were unable to score despite five shots in the first half and seven in the second. Sophomore Gregg Laskow (Plainsboro, N.J./WWP-North (Rider)) recorded three shots on goal, the most for FSU.

Senior Bobcat keeper Derek Richardson (New Windsor, Md./Linganore) made five saves while suffering the loss and William Paterson keeper Kevin Nuss made six saves.

Frostburg State returns to action Wednesday, September 14 when it travels to Catholic at 4:00 pm.
