Men's Soccer Seventh in NCAA Regional Rankings

FROSTBURG, MD – Frostburg State is ranked seventh in the latest National Collegiate Athletic Association regional poll.

The NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Committee has released its regional poll with records through October 26, 2003. The rankings are primarily determined by each team’s record versus opponents in the same region. Frostburg State (9-4-2, 5-0 AMCC) is 9-1-1 against Mid-Atlantic regional opponents.

In its last three matches, the Bobcats blanked host Waynesburg 2-0, shutout Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Pitt-Greensburg 1-0, then edged top-ranked President’s Athletic Conference team Westminster, 3-2.

FSU looks to go undefeated in the AMCC for the first time since 2000 and can clinch home-field advantage in the AMCC Tournament with a win or a tie in their last regular season match at Penn State Behrend Saturday at 2:30.
