Men's Tennis Drops Match to Penn State Altoona

FROSTBURG, MD - The Frostburg State men’s tennis team lost to Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Penn State Altoona, 6-3, Monday afternoon.

Freshman Greg Shedd (Middletown, Md./Middletown) led the way with two wins. At. No 2 singles, Shedd defeated Alex Chang 6-4, 6-3 and then teamed with classmate Fabian Uribe (Elgin, Ill./Elgin) to take the No. 2 doubles 8-4.

Tom Wetzel also picked up a win at No. 3 singles against Pat Cooper 6-4, 4-6, 7-6.

The Bobcats return to action tomorrow as they host Harford in a non-conference match beginning at 3:30 pm.
