Men's Tennis Duo Falls in First Round of ITA Regional Championships

SWARTHMORE, PA — Senior Terence Killen (Darnestown, Md./Quince Orchard) and sophomore Justin Stephens (Oakland, Md./Southern Garrett) dropped their first-round matches at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Men's Regional Championships Friday at Swarthmore College.

Stephens fell to 16th-seeded Jared Lissauer of Roanoke College, 6-4, 6-3, while Killen was ousted by Salisbury University senior Greg Forster, 6-3, 6-1.

Killen and Stephens also lost in doubles play to Swarthmore's John Thomas and Frank Visciano, the tournament's fifth seed, 8-1.

The consolation rounds were cancelled due to impending rain.
