Men's Tennis Loses to Penn State Altoona

ALTOONA, Pa. - Frostburg State fell to Penn State Altoona, 5-4, in men's tennis action Monday afternoon.

FSU fell to 6-7 overall and 3-3 in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.

Sophomore Matt Chisholm (La Plata, Md./La Plata) won No. 3 singles over Pat Cooper, 6-1, 6-1 while freshmen Fabian Uribe (Elgin, Ill./Elgin) captured the only other Bobcat singles win, downing William Wray, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, in No. 5 action.

Matt Chisholm and sophomore Andy Chisholm (Pylesville, Md./North Harford) captured a win in No. 1 doubles over Alex Chang and William Stocker, 8-6, while Uribe and freshman Greg Shedd (Middletown, Md./Middletown) won No. 2 doubles over Cooper and Kevin Dolansky, 8-6.

The Bobcats return to action on Wednesday, when they host Shenandoah at 4:00 pm.
