Men's Tennis Loses to St. Mary’s

ST. MARY’S CITY, MD - The Frostburg State men’s tennis team lost to St. Mary’s College (Md.) 4-3 Saturday afternoon.

Freshmen Greg Shedd (Middletown, Md./Middletown) and Fabian Uribe (Elgin, Ill./Elgin) earned a 8-5 victory over Alex Djinis and Andrew MacLaughlin at No. 2 doubles.

Shedd earned a win in No. 2 singles action over Jake Eikenberg (7-5, 6-1), while sophomore Matt Chisholm (La Plata, Md./La Plata) beat John Moore, 6-2, 6-3, in at the No. 3 spot. Junior Chris Schoenbauer (Riva, Md./South River) earned a win over Travis Horrom 6-2, 7-5 at No. 5 singles.

FSU returns to action on April 17 when it travels to Penn State Altoona at 3:00 pm.
