Myles Named ECAC Track Athlete of the Week

CENTERVILLE, MA — Frostburg State junior All-American Dante Myles (Hyattsville, Md./Archbishop Carroll) has been honored by the Eastern College Athletic Conference for his record-setting performance at last Saturday's Dension University Big Red Invitational.

Myles was named the ECAC Division III Men's Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this season after capturing the 55-meter dash in a time of 6.35 seconds.

He set a Denison University Mitchell Athletic Center record and was just .04 seconds shy of the Frostburg State indoor record set by Joseph Barber in 1987.

Myles was also a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that placed first in a time of 3:28.53.

Frostburg State returns to action on Friday in the Lynchburg College Winter Classic in Lynchburg, Va.
