Ntam Selected to IWLCA Senior All-Star Game

FROSTBURG, MD — Frostburg State senior defender Adey Ntam (Silver Spring, Md./John F. Kennedy) has been selected to play in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division III North/South Senior All-Star Game.

The contest will be played as part of the STX Lacrosse Festival Saturday, June 8 at Johns Hopkins University's Homewood Field in Baltimore beginning at 4:00 p.m. Ntam is one of the 20 players named to the South All-Star Team which will be coached by Washington & Lee's Jan Hathorn.

Ntam, who was recently named a first-team Brine/IWLCA South Atlantic Regional All-American, led the Bobcats with 100 ground balls and ranked second in the most recent NCAA Division III national statistics with 7.14 ground balls per game. Ntam also scored a career-high six goals and added three assists this season.

"I am excited to see Adey recognized by the IWLCA and the North/South committee," said Bobcat head coach Eric Day. "She deserves to be considered among the elite players in Division III lacrosse."

The Bobcats finished 6-8 overall against a schedule featuring four nationally ranked teams.
