Plummer Earns ECAC, ACFC Defensive Player of the Week Honors

DOVER, DE — Frostburg State sophomore linebacker James Plummer (Washington, D.C./Archbishop Carroll) has been Defensive Player of the Week for both the Atlantic Central Football Conference and the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III Southwest Region.

Plummer made a career-high 16 tackles, including two for losses and a sack, and he recovered a fumble in FSU's 40-13 loss to Allegheny (Pa.) College.

Plummer, who ranks second on the team with 52 tackles, is the second Bobcat to be honored by the ECAC this season, joining George O'Brien, who tok home the same award for his stellar play in FSU's season-opening 25-23 win over Marist September 8.
