Media Advisory: President’s Convocation, “Rolling Out the Future,” to Include Launch of New Marketing Identity for Frostburg State University

FROSTBURG, Md. – Frostburg State University President Jonathan C. Gibralter will unveil the University’s new marketing campaign as part of his annual convocation, in an event called “Rolling Out the Future,” on Friday, Sept. 27, at 3 p.m. in the Lane University Center’s Alice R. Manicur
Assembly Hall.

This event is open to members of the media. There will be an opportunity to interview President Gibralter following the convocation.

In addition to launching the new marketing identify, President Gibralter’s convocation will discuss a number of questions about FSU’s directions for the future:

  • How is Frostburg relevant to what the modern college student needs to succeed in today’s world?
  • How does Frostburg become more relevant?
  • How does Frostburg build on what makes us unique?
  • Where does Frostburg fit into the ever-changing higher education landscape?

He will also discuss a number of initiatives and programs that are in the pipeline.

The event will be live-streamed at Social media will also play a part.
