Shockley, Macey Named to ECAC All-Star Team

FROSTBURG, MD — Frostburg State junior goalkeeper Sarah Shockley (Fallston, Md./Fallston) and sophomore attack Page Macey (Linthicum, Md./North County) have been named to the 2003 Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III Women's Southern Lacrosse All-Star Team.

Shockley earned second-team honors after posting a 6-8 record, an 11.58 goals against average and a .572 save percentage.

Five losses came by four goals or less, including two one-goal defeats. Shockley started all 14 of FSU's games and made 199 saves.

Macey was named an honorable mention after leading the Bobcats with 44 goals, 29 assists and 73 points. She ranked 18th in Division III with 2.07 assists per game and just missed the top 20 in points per game.

This is the second post-season award for Macey, who also earned 2003 Brine/Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association South Atlantic Regional All-America first-team honors last month.
