Volleyball Drops Match to Catholic

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Frostburg State volleyball team lost to Catholic 3-0 Monday night. The Bobcats fall to 5-10 on the season while the Cardinals improves to 4-8.

FSU lost games one and two 30-22 and 30-19, respectively, followed by a game three defeat to the count of 30-15.

Sophomore Lauren Weller (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) led the Bobcat attack with six kills. Senior Carly McDonald (Owings, Md./Northern) posted 16 digs and junior Amanda Hernandez (Crofton, Md./Arundel) had 21 assists.

Frostburg State returns to action on Friday, September 23 when they to Waynesburg, Pa. for the Waynesburg Tournament.
