Women's Basketball Falls to Southwestern

WASHINGTON - Frostburg State dropped an 89-46 decision to Southwestern (Tex.) Saturday night in the second game of the Gallaudet Tournament.

The Bobcats (2-2) were done in by 38 turnovers and 29.8 percent (14-47) shooting.

FSU made 24 turnovers in the first half and trailed 38-24 at the break.

Junior Tracey Little (La Vale, Md./Allegany) led the Bobcats with 17 points, while junior Jamie Cable (Brunswick, Md./Brunswick) added eight points.

Sophomore Kelly True (Warfordsburg, Pa./Southern Fulton) grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.

The Bobcats will take on Gallaudet in the consolation game Sunday at 1 pm.
