WESTMINSTER, MD — McDaniel scored an early goal on their way to a 2-0 defeat of the Frostburg State women's soccer team, Saturday afternoon.

The Green Terror (1-0) scored an early goal from senior Christina Theoharis 36 seconds into the game.

With 23 minutes left in the second half, sophomore Sarah Wallace scored to cap the scoring.

The Bobcats outshot McDaniel on the afternoon, 17-5.

"We played well and had lots of chances to score but McDaniel finished their opportunites and we just didn't today"

FSU sophomore goalie Molly Whyte (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) made two saves and picked up a loss.

The Bobcats return to action Wednesday as they travel to Eastern Mennonite at 4:30 pm.
