Women's Soccer Edged by Eastern Mennonite in Double Overtime 1-0

FROSTBURG, Md. — Katie Lamm scored the game-winning goal in double overtime to give Eastern Mennonite a 1-0 victory over Frostburg State, Wednesday night at Bobcat Stadium.

FSU fell to 0-2 on the season, while EMU improved to 2-1.

After a Bobcat foul, Lamm scored on a free kick about 25 yards out placing the ball in the upper left corner just past the diving keeper, Stephanie Gwinn (HIjamsville, Md./Urbana).

The Bobcats out shot the Royals 6-4 in the first half, and 12-9 during the game. Starting keeper Molly White (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) made five saves in the first half while Gwinn made three saves in the second and one more in overtime.

Frostburg State will look to rebound Sunday at 3:00 pm when it plays McDaniel at Bobcat Stadium .
