Women's Soccer Shut Out by Allegheny

FROSTBURG, MD — Frostburg State was blanked 1-0 by visiting Allegheny (Pa.) in women’s soccer action Saturday afternoon.

The Gators (4-2) earned their goal in the 30th minute when freshman Katie Murphy headed the ball past Bobcat goalie Molly Whyte (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge). Whyte made five saves in the loss.

The Cardinals outshot FSU 12-5 on the day.

The Bobcats return to action Wednesday as they travel to Carnegie Mellon at 7:30 pm.
