Women's Soccer Travels To Westminster for First Round of ECAC Division III Women’s South Soccer Championship

CAPE COD, Mass. — The Frostburg State women’s soccer team earned the eighth and final seed in the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III Women’s South Soccer Championship.

FSU enters the tournament 12-6 overall and will take on top seeded Westminster, who owns a 13-5-2 slate, on Thursday, November 9 at a time that has yet to be determined. The winner will advance to the semifinals and take on the victor of the No. 4 Gettysburg and No. 5 Wilkes matchup.

The Bobcats are 3-2 all-time against the Titans. The two teams last met in the opening round of the 2004 NCAA Tournament when the teams played to a 1-1 tie, but FSU won 5-3 on penalty kicks.
