Women's Tennis Blanked by Washington & Jefferson

FROSTBURG, MD — The Frostburg State women’s tennis team fell to 0-13 on the season with a 9-0 loss to Washington & Jefferson Wednesday afternoon at the Cordts Center Tennis Courts.

Junior Heidi Pigozzi (Finleyville, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) and freshman Jenn Tolbert (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) came the closest to picking up a victory, falling to Jennifer Scott and Terra Naviglia 9-7 at No. 1 doubles.

The Presidents (3-6) won both the Nos. 2 and 3 doubles flights by 8-1 scores and captured all six singles matches in straight sets.

The Bobcats close out their regular season tomorrow when they host Chatham at 3:00 pm.
