FROSTBURG, Md. — The Frostburg State women’s tennis team fell 7-2 to Penn State Altoona in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference match Wednesday afternoon at the Harold J. Cordts Tennis Courts.

The Bobcats dropped to 0-11 overall and 0-3 in the AMCC, while the Lions improved to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play.

Freshman Reidon Dare (Potomac, Md./Winston Churchill) and sophomore Jenn Tolbert (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) evened their record to 4-4 on the year with an 8-2 win over Joanna Paul and Brianna Allianello at No. 1 doubles.

Dare also swept Paul 6-2, 6-3 at the top singles flight to account for FSU’s other team point.
