VIQTORY, which serves military personnel and their spouses transitioning into civilian life, has named Frostburg State University to its coveted 2020-21 Military Friendly Schools list, marking the ninth time in a row FSU has received this distinction.

Nationally Known Educator Chosen as Frostburg State University’s College of Education Dean

Dr. Boyce C. Williams has been named dean of the College of Education at Frostburg State University. The nationally renowned educator in the field of public and teacher education has served as Frostburg’s interim dean since 2017.

Artie Lee Travis

Travis Named Vice President for Student Affairs at Frostburg State University

Dr. Artie Lee Travis has been named Frostburg State University’s new vice president for Student Affairs. Travis comes to Frostburg from Bowie State University, where he has been vice president for Student Affairs since 2006.
