When did the upgrade happen? Did I need to do anything to prepare for the upgrade?
The upgrade occurred September 23, 2019 and email notifications were sent to the campus prior to the upgrade date. No preparation was needed from you prior to the upgrade.
Will I lose all of the information in my Lynda.com account?
No, your entire history, including playlists, has been migrated to your LinkedIn Learning account. Once you activate your LinkedIn Learning account, your history and activity will be available in the new platform.
How will I access LinkedIn Learning?
You can access LinkedIn Learning by clicking the Log into Linkedin Learning button at the top of this page, or through the LinkedIn Learning Mobile app for iOS and Android.
Why should I create or connect a LinkedIn profile to my LinkedIn Learning account?
Connecting your profile will result in a more personalized learning experience that includes special course recommendations based on your job title, academic major, skills, and industry. During the activation process, you will have the option to connect a LinkedIn profile to your LinkedIn Learning account. If you don't have a LinkedIn profile, you can easily create one. Am I required to connect my LinkedIn profile to my LinkedIn Learning account?
No, connecting your profile is optional. If you change your mind, you retain the option to connect your profile at a later time.
Will the university have access to view my LinkedIn activity on my personal account?
No, the university cannot see your private LinkedIn activity. See LinkedIn’s privacy information.

All active faculty, and staff can access LinkedIn Learning at no additional cost with their university account.
