Frostburg State is starting two new competitive initiatives this fall, eSports and mock trial.  This is a great opportunity for you, as an FSU student, to help make these teams successful.  eSports continues to be popular with STEM and Business majors.  Mock Trial competitions are perfect for students contemplating a career in law.

“These initiatives are examples of FSU’s commitment to go beyond the classroom in providing our students with the best overall learning environment,” said Ronald Nowaczyk, president of FSU.

The eSports club will have competitive and leisure teams for individuals interesting in being part of the action. Participants will have access to 10 state-of-the-art gaming rigs.

“We’re excited to announce the launch of eSports at FSU,” said Dr. Michael Flinn, chair of the Department of Computer Science. “Game watch parties, dungeon raids, tournaments and other exciting activities will be planned through the semester.”

Mock Trial provides students with the opportunity to compete against other teams in a trial simulation.
