Emergency Aid Resources for Students

We are aware that the recent changes to our educational and living situations may have created hardships for many of our students. Here are a couple of resources available to help alleviate these situations:

CARES Act Assistance

If any FSU student is facing unexpected financial circumstances due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Department of Education has issued federal funds to be distributed to students to help cover financial hardship.

pastas and sauces available in bag 1PAWS Pantry

Available to ANY FSU student, providing non-perishable food. The pantry is located at the Braddock House (20 Braddock Rd.) and is open Mondays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays will be reserved for deliveries to students who are ill or required to self-isolate because of potential exposure. It is not currently open to walk-ins; pre-packed bag options are being provided, and students are urged to take the food they need for a week. Please email or call 301-687-7598 for information.

All of these programs are supported by the FSU Foundation. To support any of these funds, please visit to make a gift. In particular, gifts are being sought to support the Student Affairs Crisis Emergency Fund to assist students in the current crisis.
