Campus Services


  • Chesapeake will deliver food to students with previous permission to be on campus.
  • Food will continue to be provided by Chartwells, an independent national company that has protocols for following federal and state guidelines, even as they change. How food will be provided will be determined by those guidelines.
  • PAWS Pantry on Braddock Road will remain open and available to any student who needs food assistance. To sign up for more information, email

Health Services

Any concerned individuals should CALL AHEAD to your health care provider or the Brady Health Center at (301-697-4310) to discuss your symptoms and recent travel history. Contact with others should be avoided until a healthcare provider has provided an evaluation.

Counseling and Psychological Services Via Telehealth

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) will continue to provide individual counseling services to students via a telehealth model (video conferencing or phone appointments) during the hours of 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please contact us at 301-687-4234 to make arrangements for services. Crisis services are also available by calling University police at 301-687-4223.

However, if you are in immediate need of attention and not in the Frostburg area, it may be more beneficial to contact your local resources through 911. You may also consider these national hotlines:

The Cordts PE Center recreational and fitness spaces as well as the fitness room in Lane University Center are closed until further notice.

  • Beginning Monday, March 23rd, the University Store will offer virtual services only until further notice.

  • Web Orders may be placed at and shipping fees will be waived.

  • Orders placed for course materials will be fulfilled and shipped Wednesday of every week unless special requests for other arrangements are made to the University Store staff. Orders for non-essential general merchandise will be processed and shipped upon normal operation of the store. However, general merchandise ordered from the affiliate store, will have normal ship time. These procedures will remain in place until the State of Emergency is lifted, unless circumstances necessitate otherwise.

  • The due date for rented textbooks from the University Store will be extended to a date that will be determined once campus activities have been restored. Students can mail their rented textbooks back to the University Store at any time prior to this date. Please mail to:
