Frostburg State Accolades

Frostburg State University is pleased to announce a few recent accolades:

Smartasset.com has named Frostburg State University one of the top five best-value colleges in Maryland. Frostburg State is tops for schools under 5,000 students. The study compares schools based on a variety of data sources, including starting salary of graduates, tuition, living expenses, student retention rate and scholarships awarded.

Colleges of Distinction named Chesapeake Dining Hall one of the top 15 Best College Dining Halls, singling out the student-friendly dining experiences including buffet-style dining with a made to order stir-fry and pasta bar, huge salad bar and seasonal menu created by campus chefs.

FSU has again been honored with Tree Campus Higher Education recognition by the Arbor Day Foundation for its commitment to effective urban forest management. The Tree Campus Higher Education program honors colleges and universities for effective campus forest management and for engaging staff and students in conservation goals.
