Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society

Phi Upsilon is the FSU chapter of Lambda Pi Eta (LPH), the Communication Studies honorary society. LPH was founded in 1985 at the University of Arkansas. In 1988 LPH became a part of the National Communication Association (NCA) and the official honor society of the NCA in July 1995. Visit the national LPH page for more information.

Qualifications for LPH:

  • 60 semester credit hours completed in total
  • 12 semester credit hours completed in the major
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • 3.25 GPA in the major
  • Ranked not lower than the highest 35% of graduating class
  • Exhibit high standards of personal and professional character
