Based on E.L. Konigsburg’s beloved Newbery Medal-winning classic, this enchanting musical follows Claudia Kincaid and her brother Jamie up the stone steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and into the middle of an adventure surrounding a mysterious statue that may or may not be the work of Italian Renaissance artist Michelangelo.

Since 1985, New York children’s theatre company ArtsPower has presented literature-based musicals for young people across the country. Working closely with beloved authors like Judy Blume, Lois Lowry, Paula Danziger and E.L. Konigsburg, the company has gained a national reputation for inspiring audiences. recently named ArtsPower as one of America’s top-12 touring theatre companies “that make a difference.”
