Under the skilled leadership of conductor and musical director Elizabeth Schulze, the Maryland Symphony Orchestra returns to Frostburg with a program of luminous concerto, choral and orchestral works. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s timeless Krönungsmesse, Mass No. 15 in C Major will showcase the FSU University Chorale. The playful lyricism of Mozart’s Bassoon Concerto in B-flat Major, K. 191 will feature soloist Erich Heckscher, currently principal bassoon
with MSO and the National Philharmonic. Rounding out the program is Franz Schubert’s sparkling Symphony No. 5 in B-flat Major.
