Conference Venue

ARISE 2026 will take place on the campus of Frostburg State University, Frostburg, Maryland. Symposium sessions, presentations, networking activities, and the Innovation Expo will be held in the Gira Center for Communications and Information Technology (CCIT).

Directions

From PIT airport

Pittsburgh International Airport is located approximately 115 miles northwest of campus.

1. Exit PIT Airport on I-376 East toward downtown Pittsburgh.
2. Take I-76 East (Pennsylvania Turnpike) toward Harrisburg.
3. Take Exit 146 for I-99/US-220 South toward Bedford/Cumberland.
4. Merge onto I-68 West near Cumberland, MD.
5. Follow I-68 West to Exit 33 (Midlothian/Braddock Road). Turn right onto Braddock Road to access campus spaces.

From IAD airport

Washington Dulles International Airport is located approximately 130 miles southeast of campus.

1. Exit IAD Airport via the Dulles Access Road and follow signs for I-270.
2. Take I-270 North towards Frederick, MD.
3. In Frederick, merge onto I-70 West toward Hancock, MD.
4. Near Hancock, stay left to take I-68 West toward Cumberland/Frostburg.
5. Take Exit 33 (Midlothian/Braddock Road), turn right onto Braddock Road, and continue straight to reach campus.
