FEATURED STORY
The Great Outdoors
It’s undeniable. Frostburg State University is located in the great outdoors.
For decades, our students who study Parks and Recreation, Wildlife and Fisheries and other “outdoor” programs, have enjoyed the luxury of using FSU’s beautiful and rural location as their classrooms and playgrounds. They can literally walk outside for a nature hike, drive to kayak or whitewater raft, and camp in the mountains of Western Maryland.
Lucky Bobcats.
In speaking with the FSU Office of Alumni Relations, we were informed of a number of graduates who took what they learned at Frostburg and turned it into fun and rewarding careers at state and national parks. A quick database search revealed that many alumni have envy-worthy professional positions, working and playing in some of the most remote and beautiful locations across the country. We are featuring a few of these alums in this edition of Profile.
