D. Gregory Eversole ’71 was inducted into the Maryland State Athletic Association Hall of Fame in January 2024. He is one of the most successful high school baseball coaches in the state, most recently at St. Maria Goretti Regional Catholic High School in Hagerstown.

Dr. Brenda E. Judy McCartney M’80 has been appointed superintendent of Garrett County Public Schools.
Brian G. Gilmore ’87 is a full-time senior lecturer at the University of Maryland, College Park in the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences. He teaches in the Law and Society program, a pre-law program teaching upper-level course on law, social policy, supreme court and housing justice.

Eric W. Hedinger ’92 was recently selected to be head of school at Augusta Preparatory Day School in Augusta, Ga. He was previously head of the upper school at Providence Day School in Charlotte, N.C.
Alex M. Giles ’94 recently joined Tydings & Rosenberg, LLP, where he will continue to service clients in maritime, business litigation and renewable energy law. He was also selected as the 2024 Port Person of the Year by the Propeller Club of Baltimore.
Tracey L. Comer Morris ’94 has joined Johns Hopkins University as the executive director for Talent Acquisition.
Aaron J. Morris ’95 was promoted to vice president, National LiDAR and Pavement Practice executive for Michael Baker International. He moves to this position after 27 years with Michael Baker, his most recent position being National Operations director within the Consulting and Technology Solutions vertical.
Rob D. Cravaritis ’96 was named president of the Quad-City Times in Davenport and the Iowa business unit for Lee Enterprises. He moves to this position from his role as chief revenue officer for Hart Energy.
Chris D. Cassell ’97/M’07 was appointed to the position of supervisor of Human Resources for Allegany County Public Schools. He has worked for ACPS for more than 25 years.
Nicole A. Goodfellow Horsch ’98 has been promoted to director of Clinical Operations for Liberty University’s School of Nursing in Lynchburg, Va. She manages clinical experiences for undergraduate BSN students as well as online graduate and advanced practice registered nurse students. She also develops relationships with state and local healthcare partners for the university.
Daniel L. Perrotta ’98 was honored by the Society of Health and Physical Educators of Maryland for his outstanding teaching and service at Thomas Stone High School in Charles County.
Kathleen L. Stanton M’99 is serving a three-year term on the ASTM International Board of Directors. She is the senior director of scientific and regulatory affairs with the Personal Care Products Council.

Charles “Tom” Kluh ’00 was presented the Going the Extra Mile Award. This award acknowledges the service and dedication of those who make the extra effort to help others and their organization. He is a teacher at Cherry Hill Middle School in Elkton.
Dr. Robert W. Webber ’02 recently earned his doctorate (EdD) in higher education leadership at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville. His dissertation was titled Using Photo Voice to Explore the Relationship Between the Physical Space of the College Union and Community Building on Campus: A Case Study. He is currently the associate director of Operations and Events at Texas A&M University in College Station.
Dave P. Buskirk ’09/M’12 was named the 2024-25 Allegany County Teacher of the Year. He is a kindergarten teacher at Beall Elementary School in Frostburg.

Andrew D. Rebello M’12 was recognized as the Massachusetts School Administrators’ Association High School Principal of the Year. He is the principal of Diman Regional Vocational Tech High School in Fall River.
Cheriann R. Menges ’15 has been named the 2024 Social Worker of the Year by the Allegany/Garrett Social Work Caucus of the National Association of Social Workers – Maryland. She is a school social worker with Allegany County Public Schools and an adjunct social work professor at FSU.
Ellen E. Engle Wygal ’17/M’18 will be teaching curriculum for agriculture science education at the Dorchester Career & Technology Center in Cambridge, Md., in the upcoming academic year. She was previously a teacher at Mace’s Lane Middle School.
James R. Kirk ’18 has received the Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching Award from the Notre Dame Kaneb Center for Teaching Excellence.
Cody W. Bradley ’19, Maryland State Police trooper first class, was presented a Governor's Citation for going above and beyond the call of duty to protect the lives of citizens of Maryland. In March 2022, he pulled a passenger from a vehicle engulfed in flames and saved their life.
Jonathan Dayton ’19 was recently selected to serve on the board of the Allegany College of Maryland Foundation. He is the executive director of the Maryland Rural Health Association and a volunteer firefighter/EMT.

Sean Francis ’20 recently earned his master’s in social media management from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. He has joined Uplift & Shift as the social media coordinator and has been recently featured in Hippie Nation Magazine.
