Football Shares MEC Championship

Wins in Landslide over Hilltoppers

The Frostburg State football team defeated West Liberty 56-3 on the last game of the season at Bobcat Stadium, a win which ultimately guaranteed them a share of the 2021 Mountain East Championship. The team honored 18 seniors and their hard work throughout their college careers.

Frostburg started the televised (MASN, ATT Sportsnet) game quickly, scoring a touchdown on their first drive. WLU would respond with a field goal to make the score 7-3 but would be shutout the rest of the way. The FSU defense played lights out as the Hilltoppers were held to just 51 yards rushing and only 250 total yards.
