David Jones '92/M'94
David R. Jones '92/M'94 was named the sixth president of Allegany College of Maryland Jan. 1, 2025. He brings nearly 30 years of higher education experience to the position, including 28 years at ACM, most recently as the vice president of Advancement and Community Relations. Jones' presidential inauguration is scheduled for Sept. 12.
"With the theme Inspiring Excellence, Empowering Tomorrow, this celebration will be about more than a new presidency - it's about our shared commitment to student success, workforce development and the strength of community," said Jones.
