FSU Legacy Families Pose for the "Win"

The winners of our FSU Legacy Family contest returned to the Frostburg campus to reminisce and claim their prizes. The winners were presented with FSU swag and a family portrait photo session courtesy of Julie Anna’s Joy Photography, owned and operated by alumna Julie Rando ’04/M’09.
The winners of the Legacy contest which celebrated families with the most FSU connections were: the Rhodes/Elliott family (first place), the Fornwalt/King family (second place), the Greig family (third place), the Horine family (fourth place - not pictured) and the Schofield family (fifth place).
Rando’s goal was to find photo settings on campus that had personal meaning to the families.

“While photographing each family, we stopped at special locations unique to their FSU story -- conjuring up many memories shared that were not only nostalgic, but joyful,” said Rando. “Spending time with these families really celebrated the root of what Frostburg really is to so many of us."
