Monk Juggles TV Roles

Emmy and Tony award-winning actress Debra Monk ’73 can be seen and streamed in two shows this TV season. Monk returns to NBC/Universal’s New Amsterdam in the role of wealthy business woman and former chair of the Board of Directors Karen Brantley. The medical drama is in its fourth season. She can also be seen as the opinionated and eavesdropping maid Armstrong in HBO’s The Gilded Age, the new series from Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes.
