Dr. Dan M. Filer ’04/M’06/M’08 married Tricia Homonai on Aug. 8, 2020, in Uniontown, Pa. Dan is a research coordinator for the National Park Service and is an adjunct professor for the History and Philosophy departments at Frostburg State. Kevin Filer ’04, an officer with the U.S. Secret Service, served as Dan’s best man. Dan is the son of Woody and Barbara Filer. Barb is an honorary alumna and retired employee from the Alumni Office. The Filer family also founded a scholarship with the FSU Foundation in 2019.

Durell Deal ’14 and Morgan A. Carroll ’15 were united in marriage on Oct. 3, 2020.

Sarah E. Kuhn ’12 married Eric Olson on March 13, 2021. Pictured with Sarah and Eric are, from left, Ken Kuhn ’82, Judy Jefferson Kuhn ’80, Brittany Frazier Kuhn ’12 and Stephen Kuhn ’15.
