David Jones '92/M'94
Jones was named the sixth president of Allegany College of Maryland in January 2025. He brings nearly 30 years of higher education experience to the position, including 28 years at ACM, most recently as the vice president of Advancement and Community Relations.
Debra Monk & Jessica Frances Dukes
FSU alumna and Tony/Emmy Award-winner Debra Monk is in her third season of "The Gilded Age" and FSU theatre major Jessica Frances Dukes recently made her debut on the show.
Liz Burdock '90
Burdock is the CEO of Oceantic Network. She was honored by the Massachusetts Maritime Academy as the Maritime Person of the Year receiving the Emery Rice Medal.
Brenda Ruggiero '92
Ruggiero was named the new editor of The Garrett County Republican. She has been a full-time staff writer at the paper since 2017.
Esayas T. Wureta '07
Wureta was a Peace Corps Response volunteer in Mongolia who reflected on his service, experiences and personal achievements.
David Kauffman '95/M'13
Kauffman, senior manager of Anne Arundel County Public Schools' Apex Arts Magnet Program, was selected as the 2025 Maryland Music Education Association Hall of Fame inductee.
