Chidinma Dureke '11
An art and design major, Chidinma "Chi-Chi" Dureke '11 has recently had her artwork featured in the Sony motion picture "One of Them Days," a number one selling comedy nationally and internationally.
Dureke is currently a production designer, set decorator and art director for film based out of the D.C. Metropolitan Area and Los Angeles, Calif.
She has extensive experience in film and television collaborating with renowned companies and studios including ColorCreative, Amazon Prime, Sony Pictures and more. Dureke has also had the honor of working for influential public figures such as Melinda Gates, Issa Rae, Deniese Davis and more.
In her most recent big win, Dureke was selected as one of 1,500 nationwide applicants to be one of four production designers for Issa Rae’s 2023 Find Your People Program in Los Angeles.
Most recently, she designed ColorCreative’s Contours (2024) which screens at the 2025 Slamdance Film Festival.
