New Foundation Board Members

Kathy Nicholas Boykins ’80

Boykins, from Ellicott City, Md., is a retired insurance professional. Her career highlights include the development of Allstate Insurance Company’s Liability Roundtable for new employees. She is a member of the FSU Alumni Association Board of Directors. She and her husband established the Kathy A. and Earl S. Boykins, Sr., Scholarship.

Raymond “Buster” Nelson ’77

Nelson, from Fredericksburg, Va., is an insurance professional who owns a State Farm agency. He is a member of the FSU Alumni Association Board of Directors, received the University’s Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award in 2018 and was inducted into the Bobcat Hall of Fame.

Wayne M. Scott ’89

Scott, from Arlington, Va., is general auditor for SourceAmerica, a nonprofit corporation that helps persons with significant disabilities find employment. He was honored as the FSU College of Business Alumnus of the Year in 2018 and is a member of the College’s Advisory Board.

The following members have also returned to the board after an absence of at least a year: Tom Creamer ’82 and Professor Emerita Marion Leonard.
