Keelers Earn a Couple of Ph.D.s

What do you get when married Bobcats earn doctorates in the same semester? A pair ’o docs!

Alanna Hirshman Keeler ‘16 and Zachary Keeler ‘16 received their doctorate degrees from West Virginia University this spring and have accepted positions at Texas Tech University.

Alanna’s degree is from the Department of Management and she will be an assistant professor of management. Zach’s degree is in natural resource economics and he will be a research assistant professor of economics.

After what seemed, at times, like a “constant uphill climb,” Alanna wrote:  “I can wholeheartedly say that the view from here is pretty spectacular and completely worth it!”
