The Shepherd Into Hell
Joseph Norris III ’93
Baltimore is steeped in rich, flavorful traditions: the reverence for Edgar Allan Poe, arabbers, white-marble stoops and Chesapeake Bay crabs. Now a new flavor is transforming itself into a terrible new tradition of urban legend. A werewolf, emerging from the macabre folklore of the Dark Ages, has slashed out of its shadowy legend into a deadly grim reality. Follow Joe Cocamoe, a disabled former Army Ranger doing bounty hunting to make ends meet, into a horrific and intense journey of human transformation into something nightmarish and otherworldly.

Tragedy in Casco Bay
Stacy Good Welner ’94
In June of 1941, a boat called the Don embarked on an excursion off the coast of Maine in the waters of Casco Bay to take 34 people from Dyer’s Cove to Monhegan Island for a clam bake. The boat disappeared, and all aboard were lost. It was an incident that changed communities and maritime laws. The cause of the sinking remains unknown, but the search to solve the mystery of the shipwreck continues to this day.
