Meet Your New Alumni Board Members

Antoine L. Folder '10
Social Insurance Specialist-Disability Examiner, Social Security Administration
Accomplishments/Activities:
I participated in the Leadership Retreat, Men’s Basketball, Mentoring Assistant Program Services, Unified Voices Under God Dominion Choir, NAACP, FSU Fraternity and Sorority Council, the National Panhellenic Council, Mu Upsilon Chapter of AFA Fraternity, Inc., SGA, Round Table Council and Omicron Chi Chapter of DSP Fraternity. Now I own two businesses, volunteer for NFTE and am in the Rho Tau Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
What is your favorite FSU memory?
I overcame my fear of public speaking by probating by myself in front of a packed auditorium in Dunkle Hall.
What do you hope to accomplish during your time as a board member?
My number one goal is to heighten morale and raise school spirit for both alumni and current students who may feel disconnected or distant from FSU.

Accomplishments/Activities:
My accomplishments as a student include being an inductee of the inaugural President’s Leadership Circle and a participant at the Sloop Institute for Excellence in Leadership. I was also a re-chartering member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the president of National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
Favorite FSU memory:
My favorite part of being a student at Frostburg was Homecoming and the overall student involvement.
What do you hope to accomplish during your time as a board member?
As a board member, I hope to reinvigorate the pride and excitement of being a student at Frostburg State University, helping to bridge the gap of professional opportunities and on-campus involvement.

Accomplishments/Activities:
During my time as a student at Frostburg, I was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and Lambda Nu Nu Basileus as well as the reclamation and retention small chapter of the year.
Favorite FSU Memory:
My favorite memory of my time at Frostburg State University was meeting the love of my life, Dayeenah Edwards Johnson '08.
What do you hope to accomplish during your time as a board member?
As a board member, I hope to strengthen alumni and student relations as well as promote equity and diversity on campus.
