eSports and Mock Trial Programs Created
FSU is starting two new competitive initiatives this coming fall with the introduction of eSports and Mock Trial.
The eSports Club will have competitive and leisure teams for individuals interested in being part of the action. Participants will have access to 10 state-of-the-art gaming rigs.
“We’re excited to announce the launch of eSports at FSU,” said Dr. Michael Flinn ’94/M’02, chair of the Department of Computer Science. “Game watch parties, dungeon raids, tournaments and other exciting activities will be planned through the semester.”
Mock Trial will provide students with the opportunity to compete against other teams in trial simulations.
“These initiatives are examples of FSU’s commitment to go beyond the classroom in providing our students with the best overall learning environment,” said President Ron Nowaczyk.
